How to Shortcut to program with X?

I have a game called Neverwinter Nights. This game works with Linux and the file which initiates the game is called nwn. The directory of this file is /home/chris/Games/NWN/nwn. At the moment, I can only start the game if I go into the console. I would like to create a icon which will start the game up without having to open up the console. However, when I enter the path /home/chris/Games/NWN/nwn, it fails to find it, even though the path is correct. How can I fix this?

make a shell script.......

#!/bin/bash

cd /home/chris/Games/NWN

 ./nwn

put this in your ~/home directory

make a shortcut on desktop, and point it to the shell script........

Duh, that was simplier then sleeping. I didn't try it because Redhat 7.3 didn't work when I tried. Thanks so much. =)
