Cool how to set class path for java in ubuntu 9.10


Sir I recently installed java in ubuntu (ver#java1.6.0.00)with many pains.Now I need a clear class path for this java in ubuntu 9.10;so please
direct me in a right way...

try

$> echo $PATH

You should see the <java install dir>/bin directory on this path. If not use the EXPORT command or edit your .bashrc file.

cd
vim .bashrc
(APPEND AT THE END)
JAVE_HOME=/PATH/TO/JAVA ; export $JAVA_HOME ;
