I have installed oracle 9i R2 on RH 9 and after installation I found that there were no short cuts created on the desktop. So I am trying to run the sqlplus from the terminal window and it is giving message --bash: sqlplus: command not found
The command I am using,
[oracle@redhat bin]$ sqlplus / nolog
Here I want to know that as this files exists to how I can run and login into to sqlplus?
Secondly how to create short cuts of these installed products?
Gr8 Jalal you are really Jalal..............One more think I must share with all others that you have to check "Run in Terminal" for softs like sqlplus otherwise shortcut will not work.
One more question is that how to change the properties of the shortcut after creation as at the moment I am only able to change the icon but I want to change the path or appl name as well. I am moving the shortcut to trash and recreating it.......but some extra steps envolve in this procedure.
