How to remove software completely ?
 
I install some software ,but I don't use them now.So I delete their files,but they are in my start menu .

I use gnome . How to delete them from the start menu ?

How did you install software? Did you install an RPM? If so, you should do "rpm -e <name of package>"

Some of them are RPM, and I use this method uninstall them.some of are .tar.gz, I
./configure
make
make install
make clean
to install them
How ?

With "make uninstall", if you still keep the sources. If not, you have the option of downloading the source again, then:

./configure
make uninstall
