how to play .wav files in evolution attachments

When I get an attchment in evolution that is a .wav file the only option I have is to save it. A few years ago on another computer I had I did something and I can't remember what exactly that allowed me to click on the attachment and I had a choice to save it or play it. I basically added to that menu I believe and I was using mplayer at the time. There was a file I edited if I remember right. Does anyone know how to do this or maybe there is an easier way now. Using Fedora 6.
