How to play sound to sound input ?

How can i play a song eg with amarok and let my friends hear it in teamspeak?
With other words: I'm searching for a way to set the capture device to the PCM output device in ALSA.

I'm grateful for each answer,

you should be able to do this quite easily with JACK, with one small caveat: amarok (last I checked) doesn't support JACK. You'd have to use a different audio player, like XMMS.
What is JACK? Its a low-latency audio server. It should allow you to redirect the sound output to the input device. I would suggest using the gui frontend called "qjacktcl" (that spelling may be off) or something similar.

Thx very much. I heard often about JACK but never thought about installing and using it. I'll give it a try, i didn't like the sound engine arts, but maybe JACK is more interesting.

Is it also possible to play sound from one soundcard to another?
Is there something like aoss to use JACK with programs which only support OSS (like TeamSpeak)?

I'm not sure really... my knowledge on soundcards is limited :-(
