How to move an lvm2 volume group from one physical to another?

Hi,

From what I understood, one of the strengths of lvm is that you can change the physical volume, while the world knows not of it.

How do I do it?

Thanks in advance!

Not sure what you want to do...but what what I understand it is not possible, because PVs are either part of one VG or another. To "move" the LV between would therefore mean to physically put it from one PV to another and this means: recreate it and copy the content.

I want the VG itself to move from one PV to another one. I will check the copying option you suggested..

Thanks!
