How to make xinetd run at startup on SuSE ???
 
How do I make xinetd run at startup on SuSE 9.1 ?

It depends on, when you want to start it. For a start in the different runlevels put it into /etc/init.d/rc... .There is a nother directory where you set the scripts that should run on kde start. But I don't know where it is. I never used it.

If you read the man pages carefully, you'll find that xinetd is a daemon process. It waits for one of the processes it monitors to call, then it goes to work. If you want it to start on boot, find out what services it monitors, then set one of those services to start on boot, and xinetd will start also.
