I have many works need to do as root. So I don't wanna login as other user and then su to root many times.
Is there any configuration file that I can modify in order to allow xscreensaver and lock screen work?
i have gnome 2.8.3 and i have a lock screen plugin(included by default) that i can add to my panels. works well. yeah im logged in as root most of the time as well... whats the point of using another account if im the only user on this computer(this is a personal desktop).
anyway check what you can add to your panels. it might be in the list.
