How to install VNC on Linux 6.x?

Hi,
I like to install VNC on Linux 6.x
I intend to use this compter as a server while the viewer is installed in a Linux 8 computer.
Can anyone help me on this.
The documentation on VNC website does not sya much about installation.

maybe he's got a time machine and jumped forward 20 years?

Yes, it is a Red Hat Linux 6.2 installed on a P2 laptop.
The VNC was downloaded from TightVNC website.
However it seems that I do not have JPEG and zlib in /usr/local
The Red Hat Linux 6.2 was installed on a computer that would be used to control a automated ground vehicle.

Anynody has any experience installing TightVNC in Linux?

well if you don't have the libjpeg and zlib packages installed.... install them. rpmfind.net
