I am getting spca5xx-v4l1goodbye.tar.gz from http://mxhaard.free.fr/download.html and want to install this driver to support for my gphoto2. The reason is I think the driver of gphoto2 does not support my Aiptek mini Pen cam 1.3 correctly. For example when I type in gphoto2:

gphoto2 --camera "Aiptek Pencam" --port "usb:002,003" -a

then I find that the delete function is available:

Delete selected files on camera: yes
Delete all files on camera: yes

but when I type

gphoto2 --camera "Aiptek Pencam" --port "usb:002,003" -d
or
gphoto2 --camera "Aiptek Pencam" --port "usb:002,003" -D

it seems the commands are done but when check:

gphoto2 --camera "Aiptek Pencam" --port "usb:002,003" --list-files

I got the same file still there in the camera, not deleted !

So how should I get spca5xx-v4l1goodbye.tar.gz install properly and have it supports for gphoto2 ?

Hello, no I've not got this Cam to work Yes, I've experimented with the camera FS, but with no positive reults, by the way that was years ago Now I switched to Sony-S60 which is detected as USB mass storage.

In fact I can work around some function with Aiptek min Pencam 1.3. Only get one stuck now at deleting the file from camera
