How to install ncurses 4.2 & glibc6 to be used by cmatrix

I recently found cmatrix (http://www.asty.org/cmatrix/) and would like to be able to use it on my Fluxbox's desktop. During the ./configure command, several errors were displayed (*** section):

How can I resolve these issues so that I can get the most out of cmatrix? The readme (http://www.asty.org/cmatrix/dist/README) says something about the ncurses 4.2 & glibc6 files. What are they and what do I need to do to install them? I've been using linux for about 2 years and the exact commands would be nice. Thanks

I posted this 10 days ago and no one has responded. Anybody have any ideas?
