how to install Hp Scanjet2400 Scanner in Slackware10.2 Linux(GNOME)

I Have 845 Motherboard and Celeron 1.7Ghz Processor and three partions C,D,& E on C is WindowsXp Sp2 and E have Slackware 10.2 Linux with GNOME Session, I installed Hp Laserjet 1010 Printer through Cups Manager but i need to install Scanner(HP Scanjet2400) too and i dont know how can i installed that scanner on my linux,

so help me, and gave me solution to installing the scanner...

Take a look to the SANE project (http://www.sane-project.org/). Most probably you'll find the right drivers there (check on supported scanners).
If not, head to the HP website and look for the officiol Linux drivers for scanners.
