How to install AODV network in linux

please help me that what version of linux (fedora,redhat,ubuntu,mandriva etc)will be best for installing aodv adhoc network protocol?And how to install it? please help me I have project on it..

i also want to implement aodv on kernel 2.4 and kernel 2.6.
i would like to use Linux red hat fedora 8.
what about your progress?
have u any materiel about it?
