How to get Flash 11.7 working in Firefox

I already have 11.2 Flash working fine. But is there a way I can get 11.7 working in Firefox?

I'm currently running 14.04 in 32 bit.

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

But I thought the standard Adobe Flash for Linux only goes as high as 11.2?

Please advise?

Adobe no longer develops Flash for Linux, so, no you can't get higher versions of Flash to work natively on Linux.

You can download the flash beta for Flash 24. It is missing some features of the Windows version, but is mostly on par. Or you could run the pepper flash from Chrome through the freshplayer plugin.

I thought Chrome no longer is supported by Flash? Is it wise trying Flash 24?

Thanks

Chrome & the pepper plugin was, until they released the beta, the ONLY supported & still developed Flash for linux. Chrome is going to (has?) start disabling the flash plugin by default, but it's still actively developed for Chrome.

Several people on here are using the beta, and I haven't HEARD of issues with it. Of course, I use the pepper flash plugin so I haven't followed the beta's progress, so there may be issues I'm just oblivious to.

I have the latest flash 24 beta. I haven't noticed any problems with it.
