How to get back to the desk top after CTRL +ALT+F1


can anyone explain to me how i can get back to the desktop enviroment in mandrake 9.2 running KDE desktop after doing a CTRL +ALT+F1

must be this microsoft keyboard it's lost ctrl!

strange, i have to do ctrl+alt+f-key to get to a terminal *from* X, but only alt+f7 to get back to X (and alt+f-key to move around to other terminals). i thought that was standard, but i guess not.
