Question how to download the package with dependences


hi all of you
i using linux in my oganigetion i builded proxy server give the normall access restricted ftp and https i builde the yum server i created the repository im my lan
i googled i tried to download the packages in my yum server help of below command but i got this out put
yum update httpd -y --downloadonly --downloaddir=/pack/rpm/packages

yum install httpd -y --downloadonly --downloaddir=/pack/rpm/packages
Loaded plugins: downloadonly, presto, refresh-packagekit, security
Setting up Install Process
Package httpd-2.2.17-1.fc13.1.i686 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do

when i tried to run the below command
#####
#yumdownloader --destdir /pack/rpm/packages gcc*
ican download the gcc* packages
but i need the dependencies also pls guide me how to download the package deps

i abservered the chache memory /var/cache/yum/packages
that dir is empty but i installed the gcc* httpd vsftpd packages in one hour back

pls guide me how to download the package with deps

I think you want to look at mrepo or another tool like that to mirror a repository. You can't just say "download it and it's dependencies" as dependencies depend on where you install it, and any dependency tree will always go back up to the kernel and glibc etc... if you don't have anything at all.

i am using fc9 O/S i am trying to build LAN yum server because of some of my LAN systems don't have internet access that's y i created local yum server

but my fc9 system is not maintained the cache memory i checked the cache folder
#ls /var/cache/yum/fedora/packages/
empty

i have one more linux box that is fc13 i abserved it has maintined the cache memory
