How to do a clean un-install for Nagios 3.2.0 & Plugin 1.4.14 on RHEL 4.0?

Hi,

Can anyone advise me how to do a clean un-install for Nagios 3.2.0 & plugin 1.4.14 installed on RHEL4.0?

I ran into nagios installation problems & was unable to get Nagios started because the /usr/local/nagios/bin dir was not being created during installation of Nagios core 3.2.0.

As its going to be very time consuming troubleshooting on this problem, i was thinking un-installing & re-install all over again would be a faster & easier option to get Nagios successfully installed.

Pls advise..

Thanks.

Assuming you did your own build (not an RPM install) Just remove everything under /usr/local/nagios.

Other than password and group entry that you need for the reinstall I don't think Nagios stores anything anywhere else.
