how to disable javascript per site in firefox
Recently some sites I visit frequently (most notably slashdot) have added tons on javascript based "analytics" to their pages. I don't care about all the scholarly spying on me, but it does bring my machine to its knees. Everytime I go from one page to another the browser UI freezes for many seconds while the "analytics" fries my cpu while furiously communicaticng with many third party (read google-analytics) sites.
When I turn off Javascript all is well, browsing is snappy. However, I need to remember to turn it back on when I move to other sites. I'm looking for a firefox add-on that will enable or disable javascript per site, so I can turn it off when browsing "analytics" laden sites, remember to turn it on afterwards. |
