How to digitally sign a document created with a word processor
I am looking for an easy way to digitally sign documents produced with regular word processors. Here are my findings so far:
Could you suggest other options or tips before I start playing with different settings of the options above? Am I missing something? Thanks for reading this. |
we use digitally signed PDF's, we use wrappers around the Java library iText ...
one of our coders put together a web service, using iText, that uses remotely stored ssl keys (with passwords) to sign uploaded documents. You can do all this with Adobe Acrobat (paid for version) but it can get expensive for multiple users. downside of remotely held certificates is managing/creating/revoking them for each user. Jon |
Sounds like another alternative. Thank you.
PDFStudio seems to have that functionality too. |
