How to create a Panoramic picture from a series of photos?
 
How to create a Panoramic picture from a series of photos?
Also, what I am looking at is some sort of library I can use in my program, instead of a standalone application.

I use a program called Nip2
i see you are on fedora so just run

su -
yum install nip2

it can be a bit complected to use ,but not hard

You can try Hugin too, which is based and libpano.
