how to create a ghost file for Ubuntu?
Dear All !!!
i want everyone in my company using Ubuntu OS, but i don't want installl one by one computer.how to create a ghost file for UBUNTU, using ghost for any computer? thank you very much! please help me??? |
I would use the following steps:
1) Install on one PC. 2) dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdb (requires a blank HDD of the same size on Primary IDE Slave) 3) swap Primary IDE slave with the next blank HDD. 4) repeat step 2. However, this may (read: WILL) be extremely time consuming. Maybe you could try PXE? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Preboot...on_Environment |
