How to convert?
 
Hi,

In linux debian, how can I convert MPEG2 to MPEG1 for VCD 2.0? How about .bin to .mpeg? Is there exist any GUI application for these ?

Any answer will be really appreciated.

Why not just burn an SVCD instead of a VCD?

Because my external DVD player does not support SVCD! Unfortunately!!

install mplayer and use their "menc2vcd" script to create and burn it.
