Smile how to connect linux to mobile phone

My mobile phone is samsung x628
Can I use Linux to trans date from it?
What can I do?

You mean sync schedule/appiontments with Evolution (or other calendar applications)? Unfortunately many mobile devices use proprietary format to store/exchange that kind of data. But you might give this a try:

I just want to get the pictures from the cellphone. I use USB.
When I connect the USB data cable , Linux doesn't echo anything.
Is that normal?
