Unhappy How to configure rtorrent on debian etch

Hi Guys,

I need your help here. I installed rtorrent on my debian "etch" desktop but i cant figure out how to configure it. we have a proxy server in the office and tried to put the proxy ip in http_proxy=xx.xx.xx.xx. anything to configure aside from this? Do i need to put the proxy port too?...where?

Thanks and i desperately need your help.
