How to configure RDC (Remote Desktop Connection)?

Hi, there:

I try to use RDC (Remote Desktop Connection) with my linux (redhat 9.0). But the connect button is always gray.

So, what's the correct way to use RDC? Say, if rdesktop.org is the remote server, how should I use RDC to connect to it?

Or, is there anyway to configure the EDC?

Thanks!

Richard

I don't really understand what you're trying to do. Let me ask this: You are trying to use rdesktop on your Linux machine to connect to a Windows machine through the MS Remote Desktop Protocol. Is this correct?

Thank you for your reply.

What I was trying to do is connect to a Win2K server using the Remote Desktop Connection that was come with the linux system. It did not work because the connect button always gray.

However, I have solved this problem by using rdesktop. :newbie:

To use a remote desktop in RedHat 9 you have to insert the address like this
ex: 10.10.0.1:1
Address+:+the firest desktop
