How to configure boot-loader.

Hello All - hoping somebody may be able to give me some guidance re: an install. I have xp on a primary master hd and SuSE 9.2 on a slave hd. After downloading and having a gander at Knoppix (very impresseive) I would like to install it next to SuSE on the slave drive. My query is.....if I re-partition and manage to install Knoppix how do I configure GRUB to deal with it? Please keep it very simple if at all possible because I am really new as a Linux user and do not at present have much idea. Is there any hope that the Knoppix install will deal with this issue by default? Thanks!

edit /boot/grub/grub.conf, copy the suse entry and edit it to point to the knoppix kernel & partition - probably /dev/hdb2 at a guess
