Question How to clear WINE?

What should I do to clear WINE state in my system if it's already flooded with installed Win apps and lots of registry configs? Like WINE has just been installed and nothing more. No Windows apps, no configurations were made, clear registry, etc... Is it enough just to delete "~/.wine"?

Hi there,
The wine libs and bin files would still be there on the computer if you delete .wine. The way to uninstall wine is how you installed it. If it was done using a package manager then use the same to uninstall it. If you have installed using the source code then you can download it again and run 'make' and 'make uninstall'
Hope this helps.

A little.
So if I run Arch, I need to delete "wine" package completely and delete "~/.wine"? And then install it again and it will be with no changes?

P. S. Can installation of Win apps damage WINE like it damages Windows (even until the Windows state when I need to reinstall Windows)?

Deleting ~/.wine is enough for your purpose. Only if you wanted to remove wine as well would you need to invoke pacman

Is it possible for WINE to make any change outside ~/.wine ? For example if installing some messed up Windows program or anything else? Or can Windows app running in WINE change something in ~ (not ~/.wine)?

wine does have access to files outside of .wine, in fact your linux home directory is used as 'my documents'

"My documents" for Windows apps? Why not inside of ~/.wine ? There must be something like "drive_c\Documants and Settings\user\my documents...".

Wine redirects "C:" to "~/.wine/drive_c", and the "My Documents" folder to "~".
