How to change partition size
Hello,
I installed RedHat Linux 7.2 on my pc. Now I want increase the size of my swap partition by reducing the size some other partition. How can I do that without disturbing the data in the partition which one I am reducing.. Thanks in advance |
easiest way is third party software.. but depending on where swap is, like at the beginning of the drive, good luck... your better off just creating a folder and using it as swap space...( mkswap /swap or whatever directory you create for it. ) how big is your swap ?? is there any reason you need it bigger if its already over 100 megs ?? How much ram do you currently have ??

Hi
While installing Linux I was having 256MB RAM so I allocated 256MB for swap space but later my server's RAM increased to 1250 MB. Can u give some details of third party freeware that is available... :newbie: |
