how to backup the entire linux os to the dat tape drive


i have installed rhel to my pc and i have hp dat 40 tape drive.Do anyone know how to backup the entire linux os to the dat tape drive.Please give advise.Thank you

Have a look at Mondo. It will back up an entire system to tape/cd/dvd and create bootable disks so you can boot up and restore in the event of complete failure.
