How good is ejabber?


i am trying to get a really good chat client that is super sucure and was thinking about ejabber. i understand that it has to run on a server which is not a problem because i have my own linux based web server that i can use. what do you all think of this?

I think that when it comes to jabber-like IM my only recommendation is Psi.
