How do I use a Thunderbird "Local Folders directory" as a dovecot IMAP mail folder?

Hello,

I have a large "Local Folders" directory (from the .mozilla-thunderbird directory) that has every piece of mail I've ever received. I would now like to use this as a Dovecot mail directory on my dovecot-imapd server, but the folders are not of the same format, and store different configuration information. What IS the same, though, is that box use mbox style files -- in some capacity. Is there some good or easy way to do a painless conversion, here?

Oh, duh. I can copy and paste the folders from Local Folders to my imap mail server in the the thunderbird gui, and dovecot will figure out what it wants to make out of it. I can just use that. Sorry for the post!
