If your distro is RedHat you can probably use...
# rpm -e <package-name>.
I don't know exactly what the package name will be but you should be able to find out with...
# rpm -qa | grep -i netscape
When you execute the remove command above, the system might warn you that there are other packages that depend on netscape. If it does you can just remove them too with the same command, but look first to see what they are.
# rpm -qf <filename> will tell you what package a file belongs too.
# rpm -qi <package-name> will tell you something about the package.
