How do i start BB
 

I just compiled and installed Blackbox, now how the heck do I start it at the command prompt? What is the startup command?

I installed it as root and didn't see any errors, but want to use it as regular user!

you should have 'startblackbox' as an executable. if not you should be able to edit ~/.xinitrc (preferable if you have it) or then ~/.Xclients in there you should be able to set a line 'exec blackbox' in the file, removing the previous one for kde or such like

Thnx for the reply...right now i'm using Vectorlinux 2.0 and don't have no WM installed. I will try what you mention in the reply.

So would I need to type the startblackbox at command prompt?

yup, you will of course need iot to be installed first... :D
