sudo apt-get install efax efax-gtx
Available in the universe repository..

http://efax-gtk.sourceforge.net/

Never worked with it, but since it's already in the repository it shouldn't be too hard..

https://help.ubuntu.com/8.04/printing/C/faxing.html

Gentoo (of course) has a nice faxing guide.. might be a worthwhile reference for the config files etc..

farslayer, what fax program do you personally use? If you do use one, how did you set it up?

I don't send faxes from my Linux PC.. I typically print to PDF then email the resulting document.
