How do I put pictures on my Tungsten

Hi ,
I'm having some trouble putting pictures on my Palm Tungsten E
I've tried pilot-xfer/jpilot/kpilot/gpilot and nothings seems to work ,

gpilot does nothing with this command # gpilot-install-file picture.jpg

pilot-xfer also does nothing .. (though jpilot was able to install eudorawebbrowser on my Tungsten with # pilot-xfer -p usb:/dev/ttyUSB2 -i EudoraWeb_2.1.prc

Kpilot only says: cant Install file (kpilot also couldn't install the eudora webbrowser which pilot-xfer did )

jpilot als does nothing

All these palm sync programs I mentioned here all have a proper usb connection because I can sync my contacts and calender and task ( these are all visable in Evolution/Korganiser/jpilot )

I really would like to put some pictures on my palm (easier than having pictures of relatives in your wallet )

Is there any other way ?

If you're still wondering, I have a Tungsten E working quite nicely with my Debian system.

Yes. For example, I use this (called Filez): http://www.freewarepalm.com/utilities/filez.shtml . Regular .prc to install - that should show you what actually happened to the picture files you used the gpilot-install-file . My guess is that it renamed your whatever.jpg file to whatever.pdb . Filez will let you rename.

I'm not actually sure how to install pics directly to the RAM, since I just use an SD card, and I have an SD reader/writer attached to my computer. But try Filez, see what shows up.
