How Do I make floppies from .iso image

I tried burning a bootable CD with an .iso file. It was not booting up, I want to make floppies now.

It is a 20mb .iso file, how do I make a boot floppy. There isn't any other files, just the .iso (It's a Smoothwall firewall distro)
What do I need to boot up and have it read the CD-ROM?

I just want it to boot bo I may use the CD. Any help is appreciated.

You need to read the documentation for making a bootable cd from an iso. The iso is an image file and must be burned as such or it's unbootable.

You should have a utility on the install cd to create the boot floppies. There should be documentation for you to read as well, unless it's the latest one and the documentation is on-line in a link below.

I downloaded the .iso from www.smoothwall.org , all there is is the iso image and nothing else, no utilities. I have downloaded it to a Windoze ME machine and have NERO. I tried to burn the ISO, and it was sucessful, however the system will not boot. It looks at the CD-ROM during post, however doesn't boot from it.

I was wondering if there is any tools for windoze that I can use to create boot floppies from the ISO. I don't have a cd-rom on my linux box ( 4 HDD) do using Linux isn't an option. I hope this makes sense.

Do you happen to have a fat32 partition? If so, I would advise downloading the three iso files for on to that partition and use Red Hat's utility to make a boot floppy.

This guide will work for releases 7.3 up.

Installing from a Hard Drive

Making an installation boot diskette

I don't know about smoothwall, I thought you were using Red Hat.

Perhaps their homepage has instructions such as Red Hat does. All distros do that I have checked out.
