How do I make an image of my hdd w/Linux?

Hello, I'm a new user with Linux. Specifically, I just downloaded and installed Libranet. I have setup and configured this x86 box the way I want it, but would like to be able to make a bootable CD of this setup so that I can go to any PC I want, boot up from that CD, and be able to have access to everything that I have pre-configured. Can someone give me a *real* basic "how-to" on how this can be done.
