How do I login to Linux and start a GUI
 
Hey there, I'm beginner in Redhat linux 9 , I installed it without boot loader, then created a boot disk and booted from it, now how can i load linux and load its GUI. Thank you

If you can see the command prompt, then enter your username and password. After that enter the command "startx" (without quotes). Is there any particular reason why you are using Redhat 9. Please take a look at this thread which explains why its not advisable to run Redhat 9.

First of all, Red Hat 9 is old and unsupported. You should install a more recent distro, like Fedora Core 6 or such.

Thank you for help, but when I'm booting from floppy disk, I had 5 options:
F1:main F2:options F3:general F4:kernel F5:rescue
and displaying "boot:" , waiting for commands, what should i do?

Save yourself time and effort by getting rid of the Redhat 9 you installed. Install Fedora Core 6 and make sure you install a bootloader.
