How Do I List All Files Linked To inode?

[Log in to get rid of this advertisement]
Let's say I have a file "abc" that has a link count of 2, meaning that somewhere out there (in the same filesystem) is another file with the same inode (hard linked). I know I can use "find -inum" to locate that file, but that takes forever on a large filesystem.

What's the easiest way to list all files associated with a particular inode?

Hi,

And welcome to LQ!

And as for your question: I'm afraid that that's it;
find and some time ...

Cheers,
Tink
