How do I install XFCE on Debian?

I have just switched from Libranet to Debian and I was wondering how the heck am I supposed to install XFCE? I've used it in the Morphix Livecd and know how to use it, and like it, but never actually installed it.

I have basically nothing installed but a bare-bone sid install with X and GDM set up, but no Window managers yet. I know how to get GNOME or KDE working should I need to, but the system I am running is rather low in RAM (32mb) and I want something a little lighter.

I was able to apt-get it, but I didn't get anywhere near what the xfce website showed as the default setup, and I wasn't able to do just about anything short of running the default icons.

I built it from source on my Debian Sarge/Testing laptop. No problems whatsoever. If you install "xfce" from the official Debian package repositories I believe you will end up with XFCE 3, so look for xfce4 instead.

4 is in the 'unstable' tree. I gave up on it as its not set up the way I wanted it and I didn't want to study for hours and hours to figure out how to edit configs. If you want it to look and act the way the site shows you, then you'll have to go the site and cross your fingers that there is a FAQ, install manual, or a good forum. if you want light, try fluxbox or Windowmaker if XFCE doesn't behave.
