How do I install TVTime in Slackware 9.1?

I have a Pinnacle PCTV Studio Rave and want to watch tv under Slackware. How can I install TVTime? Please, any detailed explanation will be great. Thank you. I live in Argentina (PAL-Nc).

Well, I think there is a source install for tvtime, correct? If so, it's probably just the normal ./configure, make and make install routine.

Unpack the tarball, cd to the directory, run configure, run make, run make install and you should be good to go.

Now, I downloaded TVTime and installed it but how do I configure it. Until now I get a blue screen telling that dev/video0 was not found. If anyone has experience installing tvtime in Slackware, please, help me! :-)

Did you try running as root?

If that works you need to change permissions for /dev/video0

I'm assuming that your card is being picked up at boot and the module loaded.
