how do i install nvidia drivers?

i downloaded the drivers from nvidia's site onto my desktop. Then i rebooted my machine and typed `a` to modify kernel arguments, then typed `3` to get into text mode. next I typed cd /home/jeff/Desktop
to get to my desktop, then sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8774-pkg1.run.
it started to run, but gave me kernel source path error. I used yum to upgrade my kernel, but was still getting the same error. I then used yum to install the kernel devel package and the error keeps popping up. HELP!!!

Install the kernel devel package e.g.
Code:
#yum install kernel-devel
Alternatively you can install the nvidia driver using yum if you setup the livna repository.

I have the same problem

I updated the kernel-devel and upgraded the kernel but the kernel source error remains! Very annoying!

I'd recommend checking out this webpage, with excellent walkthroughs of setting up NVidia (and ATI) drivers in Fedora:
