How do i install a new RPM system
 

I apparently need to install rpm-4.3.2-2.x86_64.rpm in order to install apt on my box. But when i try to, the shell lists about a zillion file conflicts. I assume im supposed to uninstall the old RPM or something. How do i do that? Any ideas?
