Question How do I fix this and install it ?


ok I try and install Apollon and this is what it says:

You haven't installed the compiler. I think SuSE uses yast for package management, I'm not sure. See if there is am option to install "developmental packages", otherwise install gcc and try again.

im uncompressing GCC now, my cdrom won't open so I can't pop
in the Suse 2 cd , so I went to FM and got it.
will try in a min

Is your CDROM mounted? You can't open the drive if it is...
Check for a device /dev/cdrom in the output from "mount."
If you find one, unmount it with:
umount device

You have a dependency. Install a version of Qt that is greater than or equal to release version 3.1

new version of qt is installing, My GCC is installed perfectly
(thanks to yall!)
and im waiting til this finishes to try and install APollon

what do I type when I run /usr/bin/gmake
to make it finish the QT install ?
I tried doing app again it says the same thing

Did you download and install qt OK? Did you re-read the README and INSTALL files for apollon? Are the qt libs where apollon expects them to be?

I ran ./configure for qt
but at the end of the ./configure
it says
run /usr/bin/gmake
so I terminal to
/usr/bin
then I type
gmake
it says no target selected
what do I do ?
