How do I decrease K-Menu size?
I have annoying problem. K-Menu is way too big. When I log on root the menu is nice and small. But on normal user accounts its very big. Is there any way to get that thing smaller? I have checked almost everywhere but I can't get it smaller.

Not at my linux box right now so i can't check to be 100% sure, but if you right click the menu bar along the bottom of the screen there's a thing there that says configure or something like that! pretty sure its in there somewhere!!

I've been on those menus and I just don't find it. I hope that SuSE doesn't make a trick and disaple that thing.
Or, I'm coming blind. :) If I change panel size, the panel get's smaller or bigger, K-Menu is like diamond. Need something stronger to cut it. |
I'm guessing this is what you want
1. Open a console. 2. Enter vi/vim/nano etc ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc. 3. Search for the [menus] section in the file. 4. Change the value of the variable "MenuEntryHeight=" to something like 16 or 22 then log out and back into kde. |
Thank YOU! That thing made the K-Menu shrinking! Now it's perfect. Value is 16 to that MenuEntryHeight.
I used emacs. |
