Question how do i configure a built in web cam in hp pavillion notebook pc

I am a unix expert but new to linux.
I have installed suse 10.1 on usb drive connected to a windows xp professional.
The camera is accessible from windows but it i cannot access it from suse 10.1 linux.
My home system has hp a slimline pc that is connected to the internet using a linksys broadband router that connects to the cable.
My notebook has a wireless ipw3945 intel wireless card. I have configured this to connect to the internet. I did not do anything special but I used the five cds and the add on cd.
The system could see the network. I made it to work by running iwcong eth1 essid "linksys".

Has anyone connected the built in camera?
