how do i boot from .iso burnt CDs

hi
i use redhat 9.0 on my PC.in order to have linux running from a CD,i downloaded dynebolic linux .iso image and burnt it to a CD as an disc image in nero express and also from cdroast.now both the cd's contain all the folders files.there is an html file also which says that .iso file has been burnt properly.
but when i switch off the system and boot from CD(BIOS settings changed),the system doesn't boot from CD but goes to lilo for dual boot option.
can this CD be mounted and used from the redhatlinux and how do i actually use this dynebolic CD as boot CD.
thanks for the help

what i had to do when i used to boot from cd was i disabled booting from my harddrive, i didnt just make it last in the order... i just disabled it, and it worked fine for me, and if it doesnt work, then u can always just go back into bios and change it back!

if you deffinatly burnt them as a bootable image and you deffinatly changed the settings in your BIOS to boot from CD first then you are left with two things.

1) the image was infact not bootable
2) your bios isnt working correctlyor you cd drive isnt functioning properly.

just use a boot floppy or something.

hi again
the iso image was of dynebolic1.1.i have cdrom as well as cd rw drive,so i inserted the two dynebolic cd's in both and changed the BIOS setting to CDROM boot only(disabled all),but it does't work.so maybe the image file is corrupt.may i request u to guide me,if
.iso.asc and iso.md5 also have to be burnt on to cd.or they are just for checking the integrity after download.
how do i make a bootable floppy from such a burnt CD.which all files to be copied?
maybe i'll try again.thanks a lot

hi
the problem is still unresolved, though i did download and burn slackware live cd .iso and the the result is :-)
so,BIOS,cd drive,procedure is fine,the iso image might be corrupt.thanks a lot.
