I want to make a video and put it on youtube; yet I still need to add some slides, at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the video. You can say I want to be able to add some slides at certain times of the video (20 min-30 min) and I want to know how to do that on Linux (My box currently has Ubuntu 12.04 LTS) and what's the best software to use?
I already installed 3 of the top-5 (based on nixCraft ranking) and I just want to know if shotwell and/or kdenlive are good for what I want to do?
Are they able to "add" slides in a video (usually, a picture)? And will I be able to decide for how long these slides (pictures) should stay?
I meant openshot before, not shotwell! My apologies
Openshot should definitely do what you are looking to do! Just google "openshot tutorials" and you will be bombarded with results. I have successfully used in combination both kdenlive and openshot, and have had really good results.
