How do i access the files in my CGI-BIN


Hi

How do i access the files in my CGI-BIN, when my web site data is stored in /htdocs (a different directory).

/home/httpd/htdocs/index.html web site files
/home/httpd/cgi-bin/ cgi files

Usually to access the cgi-bin you would go to:

http://localhost/cgi-bin

im assuming you are using apache...

in httpd.conf youll probably need to set up a directory called 'cgi' ... you should reference it as /httpd/cgi-bin/
then whenever you're writing your code you can reference it simply by calling 'cgi'
